Cuban-born American singer Camilla Cabello was in the news recently when she mistook a contestant in ‘The Voice’ for her ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes. She is a judge in the popular TV show.
Now she says she deleted a dating app after just a day as she started having doubts about people’s motives. The 'Havana' hitmaker, who split from ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes in November last year, decided to give online dating a go. Then she just junked the idea because she could not make out people’s “intentions”.
She made this confession on 'The Drew Barrymore Show: "I was on a dating app for, like, 24 hours then I left. The first guy that DM'd me was like aspiring singer-songwriter from Nashville.”
She felt weird because she thought someone could be using her. The 25-year-old singer admitted she prefers a different method of making a connection with potential flames. Not many know that she is a very ‘family’ girl.
She wants to revive her connections with her Latin heritage, by joining the huge family gatherings that her parents and grandparents grew up with and wants that her children, when she has them, undergo the same experience too.
