Singer Justin Bieber has achieved remarkable success at a very early age. At 19, he had 5 number one albums. Though he has been getting a negative press, for all the wrong reasons, he still has millions of fans. Such is his star power that even some multinational brands have cashed in on his image – reportedly without taking permission from him.
The singer has slammed the fashion brand H&M for selling hoodies, T-shirts and sweatshirts featuring his image or even quotes from his songs. Bieber said it did so without taking his permission.
"The H&M merch they made of me is trash and I didn't approve it,” Bieber posted on Instagram. He has told his over 250 million followers not to buy them, according to Reuters.
H&M however has denied any wrongdoing. "As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed proper approval procedures,” it said in a statement.
