Sharjah Ladies Club has announced that it will be holding a Spring Adventure Camp, with a range of exciting activities for children. The camps will be hosted in the main club, and it is all eight branches in the eastern and central regions.
The camp will run till April 13, both mornings and evenings for girls aged 3-16 and boys aged 3-8. The main aim of the Spring Adventure Camp is to help children develop their skills through a broad programme of educational and entertaining activities, to help them get the most from the experience.
The camps will be held at Collage Talent Centre at the main club, apart from Ibdaa’ Talent Centre, Marasi Restaurant and Tala programme at the branches.
The idea is to give children and young people a way to fill their time productively.
Workshops will include arts and crafts, candle making, accessory design, pottery and ceramics, cooking classes, and sweet making, alongside recreational activities such as face painting. As the camp coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, a special workshop for making Ramadan lanterns will also take place.
Ala Alshanasi, Head of Operations in Business Management Department, said: “The Club and its branches organise seasonal camps throughout the school holidays. We aim to give children and young people a way to fill their time productively, with group sessions that encourage their interests, boost their skills, and flex their creativity.”
She added: “The Club is keen to use all the available resources to create innovative camp activities so that children can find their talents. It’s also a unique chance for them to make friends and discover new passions, as well as learn about responsibility and gain social awareness.”
Moudi Ebeid, the head of Business Development in the Branches Department, said: “The Club and its branches are keen to organise seasonal camps, as part of Sharjah Ladies Club’s long-term ambition to promote moral and social values and help children lay the foundations for their future lives.
