Major fashion houses have been showcasing out-of-the-box ideas to present their creations. Five years ago, cosmetics firm L’Oreal held a fashion show on a 60-metre long runway on the river Seine in Paris. Actresses, models and even a Game of Thrones male protagonist displayed 70 hair and makeup looks.
Iconic fashion brand Dior used mythical creatures in a forest for its Autumn Winter 2020-2021 Haute Couture collection. In the Dior video, two bell boys wheel a trunk modelled after the fashion house’s Paris headquarters through a dreamlike forest and offer nymphs a heart-stopping look to try.
Now French fashion brand Jacquemus has emerged with another trendy idea for its cherished Le Bambino bags: it sent giant versions of the bags zooming on wheels through the streets of the Western world’s fashion capital Paris. The video on its Instagram website has gone viral on social media.
“I think I like Paris now,” it wrote, alongside the video.
A closer look at the video shows passengers inside the bag trolleys with the words ‘Jacquemus’ and ‘Bambino’ painted in yellow along the road.
