Miss Venezuela Ariana Viera died after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a car crash in Orlando, police said on Thursday.
According to media reports, the 26-year-old model’s car collided with a truck in Orlando on July 13. Media reports said that Ariana fell asleep behind the wheel, quoting her mother.
The mother said the medics revived her and took her to trauma care. But later she suffered a heart attack.
Venezuelan media said that Ariana was due to represent her country at the Miss Latin America 2023 competition in the Dominican Republic in October.
Controversy erupted after her death as her fans said Ariana made a chilling video about her funeral just two months ago and shared it on social media.

In May, Ariana shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “Recording myself for my future funeral because it's always me who takes the videos no one takes them of me…"
Local media said that the model worked in the real estate sector.
