That's why we offer a holistic approach to cardiac care, addressing not just the physical ailment but also the emotional and psychological needs of our patients and their families, extending support from charities to those in need of financial assistance.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the dedicated team of experts from Zulekha Hospital, whose tireless efforts and unwavering commitment make miracles happen every day. Together, we stand at the forefront of cardiac care, changing lives, one heartbeat at a time.”

Alongside the educational panel discussions, the partner recognition ceremony applauded the commitment and invaluable contributions of partners such as Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, National Ambulance, Dubai Police, Sharjah Police, the American Heart Association, the Indian Association, Dar Al Ber Society, and Friends of Cancer Patients to name a few.
The event also acknowledged the pivotal role played by social worker Ashraf Thamarasery and other supporters in furthering the cause of cardiovascular health.
More than a 175 open heart surgeries have been performed by the cardiac team at both facilities in Dubai and Sharjah. The cardiac patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedures ranged between the age groups of 28 and 78 for CABG.
These procedures have had excellent results exceeding the international standards for success rates of 99 percent. Among the patients seen by Dr Mohammed Ahmed Helmy, nearly 50 percent were between the age of 35 and 50.
He remarks, “The lower age group among patients is a worldwide phenomenon due to stress and the prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus and Hyperlipidemia and the unhealthy lifestyles. Younger adults with a highly positive family history must be cautious and screen themselves for heart diseases periodically.”
The programm “Save Hearts” is a testament to Zulekha Healthcare Group's commitment to excellence in cardiovascular care and its dedication to fostering partnerships for a healthier future.
