FUJAIRAH: His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, is leading the UAE official delegation to the 30th Arab League Summit, starting in the Tunisian capital on Sunday.
His Highness Sheikh Hamad is accompanied by Dr Anwar Bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development- Abu Dhabi; and Faris Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Advisor to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
The Summit, to be chaired by Tunisian President Al-Baji Qaid Al-Sibsi, will address a series of critical issues, primarily the Palestinian Cause, Syrian crisis, latest developments in Libya, Yemen and Sudan, and Iran's interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries as well as counterterrorism efforts.
The delegation also includes Saeed Bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Special Advisor to the Ruler of Fujairah; Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development; Rashid Mohamed Al Mansouri, UAE Ambassador to Tunisia; and Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League.
