The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expects the weather to remain cloudy in the country, with the possibility of some light to medium rainfall during the next three days, beginning on Sunday, especially on the sea and the islands. The Centre explained that the current condition of the weather was a result of continuity of movement of clouds towards the country from the west due to the extension of surface low pressure accompanied by upper low pressure over most parts of the Arabian Peninsula.
It indicated that the weather on Saturday would be dusty and partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some areas with a slight decrease in temperatures over some areas. The winds would be moderate to fresh southeasterly to northeasterly, especially over the sea, blowing dust and sand over exposed areas with an initial speed of 20–30 km/h, reaching 45km/h. The waves would be moderate becoming rough at times during the daytime in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate in Oman Sea, the NCM added.
The NCM expects the temperatures on Saturday to be in the range of 27˚C-39ºC in Abu Dhabi, 26˚C-38ºC in Dubai, 25˚C-38 ºC in Sharjah, 26˚C-39 ºC in Ajman, 25˚C-38 ºC in Umm Al Quwain, 27˚C-39 ºC in Ras Al Khaimah, 25˚C-28 ºC in Fujairah and 27˚C-39 ºC in Al Ain.
Earlier, the NCM indicated that the weather on Wednesday would be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some areas with a chance of some rainfall over western and coastal areas. There could be moderate to fresh northeasterly to easterly winds at times, blowing dust and sand over exposed areas, with an initial speed of 20–30km/h, reaching 40km/h over the sea. The waves would be rough, becoming moderate by the afternoon in the Arabian Gulf, and mild to moderate in the Oman Sea.
The weather on Thursday was predicted to be partly cloudy, becoming completely cloudy over some areas, with a probability of some light rainfall over the coastal and some western areas and an increase in temperatures, according to the NCM.
