ADNOC Schools’ Madinat Zayed Campus has announced impressive growth across every performance standard listed in the latest Irtqa’a School Inspection Report. The highly positive report points to a continued rise in the school’s overall performance as well as improved student achievement in all subjects.
The Madinat Zayed Campus has seen its ratings rise across each of the inspection framework’s six core performance standards: Student’s Achievement; Student’s Personal and Social Development; Teaching and Assessment, Curriculum; Protection, Care, Guidance and Support; and Leadership and Management. The highest praise was reserved for the school’s leadership and management, which was rated ‘good’ in every area.
“The positive changes in the school have come about through strong and well-focused leadership with high and well-understood expectations. The Inspection team highly commended the school’s leadership on their very clear vision and direction, in addition to their strong, shared sense of purpose in raising the school’s provision and outcomes. Inspectors were impressed with students’ positive attitudes and behaviour in creating a purposeful learning community and furthermore the students’ appreciation of Islamic values and UAE culture”, said Wendy Birch, Principal at Madinat Zayed Campus, ADNOC Schools.
Since taking the reins of ADNOC Schools in 2017, Aldar Academies has channelled its best practice, knowledge, innovation, and operational excellence into the school community’s four campuses. Now under Aldar Academies’ direction, ADNOC Schools strives to deliver an outstanding, STEM-focused education that nurtures the future leaders of the UAE’s knowledge economy.
Towards its goal of cultivating future leaders of the UAE, the school has enhanced its STEM-focused curriculum by introducing proven new education programmes through partnerships with the likes of LEGO Education and the renowned Kumon Learning Programme. Staying true to their local roots, the two education leaders have also worked closely to create an environment where Arabic and Islamic values are honoured, and cultural differences are valued.
“Our students have responded incredibly to the changes brought about by Aldar Academies, showing themselves to be confident, effective learners. We’re already building upon this success with a focus on advanced education technology and creative teaching techniques to nurture the UAE’s future leaders.”
