The Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority (SPSA) has affirmed its continuing commitment towards providing the emirate’s real estate segment with the necessary tools needed in ensuring the safety of its citizens, residents and their property, through its new Aman System, which is expected to help pave the way for improved fire prevention, safety and security measures – falling in line with the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The statement was made during a special conference organised by Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority, which was held on Thursday, April 25), at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to introduce the Aman System to local real estate developers --making them aware of the key benefits and advantages to be gained from utilising this new safety and security system that offers solutions to protect individuals and property via early detection and rapid warning on a 24/7 basis.
The introduction and implementation of the new Aman System proves to be both timely and strategic as the UAE has been given top ranking in the global Security and Trust Index with a grade of 96.1 per cent, reflecting the country’s improved preparedness and enhanced emergency and fire response times based on set international standards and in line with UAE Vision 2021. In line with this, representatives of the local real estate segment have given praise to the new system, which is being implemented by the SPSA and managed by SANED. The move demonstrates a quality focused step towards early detection of fires in residential and commercial buildings in innovative ways, in line with national efforts directed to enhance the wellbeing of citizens and residents in Sharjah.
During his speech at the conference, Eng. Qais Mahmoud, Aman Project Manager, SPSA, expressed their continuous commitment to support the Aman system, especially in the move to enhance preventive safety measures, improve readiness and emergency response times, in line with the highest standards of safety and security for buildings and facilities. He further pointed out that these efforts complement the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan.
