Embracing the spirit of Ramadan, Al Majaz Waterfront is offering authentic festive banquets at its different restaurants, while celebratory decorations adorn the outdoor venue with ornate lighting, all of which help to foster community engagement – the true essence of the Holy Month.
With the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere that prevails during the blessed month, Al Majaz Waterfront that features magnificent views of the Khaled Lagoon has especially customised after Iftar offerings, that will be open until midnight. Sumptuous international delicacies, will surely be a memorable experience for all visitors, that spreads across various Middle Eastern and International F&B outlets.
The leisure destination is celebrating Ramadan’s spirit, by offering the visitor who spends Dhs100 or above at any of the restaurants, a chance to enter the weekly draw, to win a variety of prizes such as hotel stays and monetary prizes.
In addition, they will also have an opportunity to experience traditional Emirati hospitality at the Ramadan Majlis.
For the eighth consecutive year, Al Majaz Waterfront is the host for the daily iftar cannon, notifying worshippers that it’s time to break the fast.
History has it, that back in the days firing the cannon was to announce iftar time as there were no wrist watches and clocks. This authentic religious tradition is broadcast live on Sharjah TV at 6.30pm everyday where families gather well before time at the Fountain Piazza, to enjoy the atmosphere and win daily prizes.
