Man kills wife with acid over phone password

A Gulf man in Abu Dhabi has been sentenced to death for attacking his wife with acid over her phone password.
According to reports, the couple has been married for 17 years and has six children between the ages of three and 16.
The Abu Dhabi Court of Cassation upheld a ruling issued by the Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal to sentence the suspect to death.
Investigations have revealed that the suspect has history of drug abuse and has been imprisoned more than once.
The deceased filed for divorce, which made the suspect accused her of having an affair on social networking sites.
According to court documents, he made the decision to kill her for being unfaithful.
The eldest son, 16 said the father demanded the password for his wife's mobile phone and when she refused, the suspect flew in rage and threw acid across his wife's face and body.
The victim died in the hands of her six children.
