Brigadier General Arif Mohammed Al Sharif, Director General of Human Resources and Support Services Department of Sharjah Police, received teachers and students from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Sharjah. The visit took place at the Support Service Department, and in the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al Marri, Director of the Community Police Department, and Captain Hafez Assad, along other specialists.
The meeting began with a warm welcoming speech by Brig. Arif Al Sharif to the delegation members, in which he expressed his appreciation to the special visit that comes within the framework of the ongoing coordination and cooperation between the Sharjah Police General Directorate and all academic and scientific institutions. Through such cooperation, the Sharjah Police aim to utilize all the technical and functional information that can be used by its management and units, in order to achieve a higher level of professional performance and enhance the provided services.
The aim of the visit was to learn about the University of Sharjah’s experience in developing the academic programme through communicating and cooperating with all civil society organisations and institution, in order to provide the best training opportunities for students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
Dr. Iman Ibrahim and Dr. Dana Taher expressed their gratitude to be paying such a special visit to the Sharjah Police, which is one of the multiple visits that took place during the academic year between the engineering team of the Sharjah Police General Directorate and the University of Sharjah, in an attempt to contribute to the development of students’ skills and encourage them to continue to provide the best designs.
At the end of the visit, Brig. Arif Al Sharif honoured the visiting delegation with a memorial shield of the Sharjah Police General Directorate, and expressed his appreciation to the ongoing cooperation between the Sharjah Police and the University of Sharjah.
