With the start of the last leg of the holy month of Ramadan, preparations for the grand Muslim event of Eid Al Fitr have been announced by major malls.
Majid Al Futtaim invites residents and tourists to join the Eid Al Fitr celebrations across its lifestyle destinations in the UAE. The malls will host a variety of entertainment, shopping deals, and traditional celebrations throughout the festival.
Mall of the Emirates is giving away Dhs5,000 every day. Shopping for Dhs600 will give visitors a chance to win the cash prize in mall gift cards from June 1 to 8. The mall has organised a fun, interactive Toys Factory show to keep young visitors entertained. The mall will come alive with stunning performances by dancers, circus performers and acrobats four times daily from June 4 to 6.
At City Centre Mirdif early birds get an advantage. The first 40 visitors to buy a Mall GiftCard worth Dhs1,000 or more from May 25 to June 8 will receive a Mall GiftCard worth Dhs100.
Children’s favourite cartoon characters will be stopping by to entertain them this Eid at City Centre Mirdif. The well-loved characters will parade the halls of the mall during Eid.
The more you shop the better your chances of winning this Eid at City Centre Deira. Shopping for Dhs500 will give customers a chance to spin the life-size wheel in the mall to win instant prizes and Mall GiftCards.
Circus performers in vibrant costumes will be roaming the mall to entertain visitors with their awe-inspiring feats, amazing tricks, juggling and unicycling. Enjoy the shows four times daily during the three-day celebration.

City Centres Ajman, Sharjah, and Fujairah will also host a parade of performers this Eid to entertain its visitors.
The winning continues at City Centre Me’aisem this Eid in collaboration with the Dubai Shopping Malls Group. From May 23 to June 8, customers who spend Dhs200 stand a chance of being selected as one of 25 participants to play a game of numbers and win prizes worth up to Dhs250,000. The draw will take place on the last day of Ramadan and the first two days of Eid.
While parents shop, children can be dropped off for special activities in City Centre Me’aisem’s popular ‘The Backyard’. Back from May 31 to June 8, ‘The Backyard’ will host different arts and crafts workshops for kids.
