As many as 30 orphans of various age group have enjoyed a charity Iftar organised by Hilton Sharjah as part of celebrations of its 100th anniversary.
The boys and girls along with the staff of Social Care Centre for Children attended the Iftar.
The Social Services Department of Sharjah Government was given a chance to spend time to engage in various activities set by the hotel staff in the dress suitable for the occasion.
The kids and staff engaged in a number of interactive activities, including games.
They showed great interest while enjoying the entertainment-filled evening.
“The team and I are delighted to host Iftar for the Social Care Centre for Children and trust this brought much joy and smiles to their faces in the true spirit of Ramadan. This week is also special for Hilton hotels all over the world as we are completing 100 Years of Hospitality,” said Ashraf Nabih, General Manager.
“Giving back to society always enriches lives and rewarding. We are planning to have many more charity events as part of our positive Hilton Effect on the community surrounding our iconic hotel.”
Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences, the luxurious 5-star hotel in the heart of Abu Dhabi, recently hosted a special Iftar for 42 orphans and their administrators nominated by Emirates Red Crescent Society, a volunteer humanitarian organisation.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the hotel hosted the celebrated Iftar at Al Tasamoh Tent.
In addition to offering a delicious meal, kids were engaged in an exciting evening of fun and games making it a memorable time for them to cherish.
Al Tasamoh tent, designed to impress everyone with its gorgeous interiors reflecting the beauty and grandiosity of Moroccan architecture, served a gourmet Iftar buffet prepared by the talented team of culinary artists.
The buffet featured a fantastic assortment of authentic and traditional Arabic and international delicacies along with live cooking stations, Arabic sweets and desserts, refreshing fruit juices and Ramadan beverages.
