An expat has been convicted of promoting flesh trade and will be spending two years in jail for engaging in flesh trade.
The Asian man was engaged in promoting the vice via WhatsApp by sending by sending pictures of women to various men and setting up appointments.
The defendant has been charged with luring women into prostitution, exploiting them and engaging in immoral activities.
The defendant denied the charges and claimed not to understand why he was being charged due to language barrier.
The authorities refuted his claim, saying he understand Arabic because he carried out some conversation with his clients in Arabic.
The defendant will be deported after completing his jail term.
