Ajman Police reunite missing child with family

The Ajman Police found an Arab child, identified as YH, 15, who lost his way in Al Rawda area, and returned him safe to his family.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Yahya Khalaf Al Matroushi, Head of Al Hamidiya Comprehensive Police Station, the traffic patrol found the lost boy during its evening inspection tour in Al Rawda. When asked, the boy stated that he left his parents’ house to buy some groceries but lost his way and could not return home.

The child was taken to Al Hamidiya Comprehensive Police Station, where policemen talked with him until they were able to reach his father and request him to come to the station to pick up his child. This took only one hour from the moment the child was found. The father, who was asked to sign an undertaking that this would not happen again, was instructed how to maintain the safety of his children and how important it was to pay due attention so that they are not lost or face troubles.

Al Matroushi called on the public to exercise extreme caution towards their children and to close doors tightly, particularly at night, to avoid such incidents.
