Emiratis, Kuwaitis take part in exhibition

As many as 29 entrepreneur families from Emirates and Kuwait are participating at an exclusive event in The Dubai Mall to promote their homemade products.

The five-day Emirati-Kuwaiti joint productive families’ exhibition was inaugurated by Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, UAE Minister of Community Development and Saad Ibrahim Al Kharaz, Minister of Social Affairs in Kuwait.

The exhibition which began July 16 will end on the coming 20th.

The participating Emirati-Kuwaiti families are displaying thousands of traditional and innovative products such as: publications, children’s clothes, jalabias, abayas, perfumes, dukhoon, decorative pots, emirati spices, honey, natural oils and desserts, including other products all made in an innovative way with a blend of the past and the present catering to the needs of different shoppers.

Following the inauguration of the exhibition, Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, UAE Minister of Community Development, stated that as part of the ministry’s efforts to keep pace with the UAE strategic vision 2021, it has supplied household goods and products through digital currency “bitcoin” in addition to traditional cash.

She further noted that the exhibition is promoting a sustainable community development integration between the UAE and Kuwait that is helping the families to expand their projects and products. The exhibition is very important from the social, family, economic, development and cultural aspects as it conveys the strong ties and solidarity between the two countries.  Hessa Bint Essa lauded the products, encouraging the owners of homemade and micro projects to participate in the exhibition and gain the confidence of consumers, by displaying their best products and also be active members in global competitive markets.

The UAE Minister of Community Development also noted the importance of the exhibition and its social, economic and development values for both families and societies.

Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid called all community members and Dubai Mall visitors to visit the exhibition and learn about the traditional and modern products and cultures of the Gulf region.

Saad Ibrahim Al Kharraz, Minister of Social Affairs in Kuwait expressed his admiration of the thorough participation of both Kuwaiti and Emirati enterpreneur families noting that this joint Gulf attendance in one of the largest malls regionally and globally has a great value for everyone.
