Science club students visit varsity

The Emirates Science Club, an affiliate of the Cultural & Scientific Association, organised a visit for its students to the University of Dubai to introduce them to the varsity’s laboratories.

The visit, in which 270 students participated, came as a part of the Club’s summer programme that began July 7 and will continue for a month.

Participants looked into the latest science projects developed by the university students and also took part in an aptitude test, besides conducting live experiments.

The visit came as a part of the Club’s Board of Directors’ keenness to nurture scientific knowledge of students, and provide them with best opportunities to learn about the latest technologies.

The Emirates Science Club is currently running its summer programme and has introduced a bundle of activities aimed at helping youth explore their talents.

The activities are focussing on students aged seven to 18 and are being held from 5 to 8 pm. Transportation is being provided for Dubai residents.

More than 270 students are participating in the scientific and handicrafts activities that are taking place. It is worth noting here that the laboratories of the Emirates Science Club get updated every year with the latest technologies.

The event is an amazing opportunity for students to explore their hidden talents and develop their abilities in various technological and scientific fields. Moreover, students are expected to discover innovative ideas through their daily interaction with the scientific ambience.

Excessive efforts are being made by the Emirates Science Club to develop the abilities and talents of students by providing scientific programmes in different fields, such as electricity, electronics, robotics, and 3D printing, as well as handicrafts activities and carpentry.

Emirates Science Club of the Cultural and Scientific Association in Dubai represents the symbol for science for the youth of this futuristic country, especially through focusing on the spirit of innovation and creativity. The development of scientific talent and skilled young people is necessary in order to create a generation able to build the future and the formation of a solid scientific base through which young people can seek and achieve a better tomorrow.
