Arab man jailed for blackmailing woman

An Arab man has been jailed and asked to pay Dh500,000 for blackmailing a young woman and breaching online laws.
The defendant met the victim online and the duo dated for sometime.
During the course of their dating, the defendant asked the victim for inappropriate pictures. He used the pictures to blackmail her by asking the victim to pay money or else he will publish the pictures online.
According to authorities, the victim paid the man up to Dh700,000.
The continous threat and money demand from the defendant pushed the victim to report the case and the police arrested the him.
