Drunk man kisses policeman in Hyderabad during religious festival

A drunken man in India’s southern city of Hyderabad has been booked for kissing a policeman and disturbing him from performing his duties.
The 28-year-old Poudel Bhanu, a bank employee, was dancing to music during Bonalu festival celebrations in Nallakunta area.
The policeman was passing by with a procession. Bhanu to the surprise of many jumped in and grabbed the policeman and planted a kiss on his cheek.
The embarrassed policeman slapped the man and walked towards him before leaving the place.
The video of the incident has gone viral.
One Twitter user said, “And the reaction when a drunk man kisses SI at #Bonalu procession in #Hyderabad…”
Sub-Inspector K Mahender filed a complaint against the man, alleging that he disturbed the public modesty and stopped a policeman from discharging his duties.
It was learned from local sources that Mahender was responsible for supervising the security measures in Vidyanagar area with Bonalu festival on Saturday.
