The General Department of Human Resources at Dubai Police has recently launched a smart scheme featuring employee self-services through kiosks distributed across Dubai Police General HQ, general departments and police stations.
Brigadier Dr Saleh Abdullah Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources at Dubai Police, pointed out the employee self-service project is one of plenty initiatives implemented by the general dept. of Human Resources in order to facilitate human resources services.
He added this is in line with the Dubai Police's strategic goal of spreading happiness among employees, and providing them with services via smart channels .
"This self-service project achieves three main goals including: meeting employees' needs , reducing the time and effort spent in obtaining services, and transform self- services digitally to please the internal customers of Dubai Police", Brigadier Murad added.
For his part, Lt. Shehab Abdul Rahim Shaaban Ahli, Director of the Employees' Self-Service Project, explained that the project provides 21 services to Dubai Police employees, stressing that all is required to get services is to enter the Emirates ID in the kiosks or through the employee ID number.
"About 15 kiosks have been distributed throughout Dubai Police General HQ, general departments and police stations in the Emirate of Dubai", Lt. Ahli added.
He pointed out that Dubai Police have been marketing the new self-service project through electronic bulletins, promotional videos and field visits to explain how to benefit from these kiosks to obtain desired services easily.
