Bangladeshi wins Dhs1m in Ansari Exchange raffle draw

A Bangladeshi expat Abdullah Al Arafat Mohammed Mohsin, hailing from Sonagazi City in the Feni District of Chittagong won the grand prize of Dhs1 million during the Al Ansari Exchange Rewards - Summer Promotion 2019 draw held in Dubai on Tuesday.

Abdullah was the luckiest one in the end among the eight other finalists, including two Emiratis, two Filipinos, one Indian, one Pakistani, one Indonesian and another Bangladeshi. The eight other finalists also won Dhs10,000 each.

Speaking to Gulf Today on the occasion of one of his life’s luckiest day Abdullah said, “ I can not express my happiness in words, I made a call to my family and they are still not sure that I have won.”

His joy of winning the raffle has been doubled as he is also expecting his first child next month.

Abdullah is living in the UAE for the last 9 years and runs his own business of mobile accessories.

 He said, “I will send some money back home and the rest I will invest in my business for expansion.”
