A serious incident occurred on Monday morning in Dubai, resulting in the death of 8 people. Six people were injured.
The accident occurred as a minibus with 14 passengers collided with a truck on Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road towards Sharjah before Mirdif City Center.
It was learned that the victims in the minibus crash were Indians and Pakistanis.
The accident happened at 4:54 am when the bus rammed into the lorry, which was stationary on the road shoulder.

The Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation Ambulance Services, Khalifa Hassan Aldrai, rushed to the scene as soon as he learned about the accident. The ambulance teams and disaster management teams also rushed to the scene where they dealt with the cases and transferred the critical ones to the trauma centre in Rashid Hospital.
Khalifa expressed his deep regret over the occurrence of such accidents and called on all drivers and road users to take caution and adhere to traffic laws and avoid speeding while driving.
The Director of Security Media of Dubai Police, Col Faisal Al Qasim, said investigations are being carried out to determine the exact cause of the accident. He also urged all motorists to practice extreme caution, respect speed limits, avoid distractions and to use indicators when changing lanes.
The police said, the bus driver and seven passengers died on the scene while two passengers sustained serious injuries and four others sustained mild injuries, all were taken to Rashid Hospital. The crash victims are all Asian nationals.
