Emirati astronaut Hazzaa Al Mansoori shared some breathtaking photographs of the Palm Jumeirah on his social media accounts.
Hazzaa took the images during his mission aboard International Space Station. He said that Dubai has always been his biggest source of inspiration.
The Emirati astronaut captioned the image, “A breathtaking image of Dubai from space. This city is my biggest source of inspiration.”
Hazzaa also shared videos of what it’s like to eat in space. Hazzaa also explained that some space food needs to have water added to it so it doesn’t float away.
Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori has said that Hazzaa, who is in Moscow these days, is in excellent health.

"Hazzaa has shown excellent health condition and is ready to complete his scientific experiments as planned," said Hamad Obaid.
His remarks came after a meeting with the Emirati astronaut at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre in Star City in Moscow.
Hazzaa returned to earth on 3rd October 2019 after spending eight days aboard the ISS.
MBRSC Director General Yousuf Hamad Al Shaibani, and Salem Al Marri, the head of the UAE Astronaut Programme and Saeed Karmostaji, Astronauts’ Office manager, also attended the meeting.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, founded in 2006, is home to the UAE National Space Programme.
The Centre builds and operates earth observation satellites, offering imaging and data analysis services to clients around the world.
The Centre launched DubaiSat-1, DubaiSat-2, and recently launched KhalifaSat on Oct.29, 2018 from Tanegashima Space Center in Japan.
KhalifaSat was developed 100% in the UAE by a team of highly qualified Emirati engineers.
The Centre is responsible for the development of the Emirates Mars Mission and the Mars Hope Probe, a mission to reach Mars orbit by 2021 and gather key science data about Mars’ atmosphere, as well as the UAE Astronaut Programme and the development of the Mars 2117 vision to build a human colony on Mars.
