Emirati robots unveiled at Gitex

The Habal brothers have joined together with Al Moammar Information Systems Company to present the first Emirati humanoid robots “Samit and Sidra” at GITEX 2019. The launch of the two robots came in conjunction with UAE’s vision for the year 2031.
The main purpose of the two robots is to provide assistance, interact with clients, and accomplish daily tasks without any human interference. They will be used in various fields such as advertisements, human resources, customer service, and in the private and public sectors.
The AI robots will work as comprehensive employees in government and private sectors to ensure higher quality services and customer satisfaction, as they are programmed to interact and evaluate satisfaction of clients through provided services.
Moreover, the making of the two robots came as part of Dubai’s vision for the year 2031 in an attempt to keep up with the surrounding technological era, and rely on artificial intelligence to prevent and reduce human errors. The project has been made by 100% Emirati hands and costumed with the local Emirati wear.

The first AI interactive platform was launched on Tuesday to work as a virtual assistant in the field of banking, judicial and police transactions, in addition to facilitating services provided to the public in record speed.
Over the next year, the two humanoid robots will be used in governmental and semi-governmental organisations after several trials of their effectiveness during the remaining months of 2019.
An earlier report said the Roads and Transport Authority, (RTA), has integrated a robot-operated vehicle registration plate maker in Dubai. The fully-automated machine can produce 33,000 plates per day.
It applies the Fourth Industrial Revolution, (FIR), technologies and artificial intelligence applications to print registration plates without any human intervention.
