GCC employee strikes at female executive in Dubai

A GCC employee, 30, attempted to assault a female Arab sales executive, 31, after he asked to meet her in his car where he tried to attack her.

The victim testified before the Dubai Public Prosecutor that her relationship with the defendant was weak.

She said, “I met him only a few times. Before the incident, he asked to meet him in his car. We met in a parking area behind Festival City at 10pm then he drove the car and on the way he started talking about his relationships with important persons. He added he would help me with money and that he wanted to marry me after divorcing his wife. I told him I do not want his money or help. Then he stopped the car and wanted to attack me after an argument. I resisted and stopped him after he threatened to kill me with a small knife.”

In the end he responded to her pleas and took her phone, erased the messages and calls between them and dropped her in front of a cafeteria.
