Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, inspected several tourism projects in Mirfa city, Dhafra Region, starting with the 360 metre-long swimming beach.
Spanning 50,000 square metres, the project, which applies sustainable standards, looks to redefine the city’s aesthetic image and provides entertainment services to beachgoers.
Sheikh Hamdan also visited 37,000 square metre zone on the Mirfa beach which features 68 caravans serving local dishes and other entertainment events to attract tourists.
He met a group of citizens at Mohammed Falah Al Yasi Majlis in Mirfa city where he listened to their opinions and ideas about public services and their requirements.
Sheikh Hamdan instructed the authorities to study these requirements and initiate action.
Recently, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, has emphasised the keenness of the wise leadership to provide all means of decent life and meet the needs of Emiratis regarding housing and lands, developing residential communities which are carried out by government entities or private sector, to properly communicate with segments of the society at higher levels of welfare in various aspects of social and urban life.
He pointed out that projects in various sectors contribute to enhancing economic and social uplift in Al Dhafra region and meet the housing needs of the population in accordance with the highest levels of safety and security in addition to the provision of integrated solutions for the transfer of services and the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies and solutions.
Sheikh Hamdan made the remarks while touring a number of residential, and land infrastructure projects in Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafra Region which are being implemented by Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) at a cost of about AED650 million.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the efforts of companies implementing projects in the Al Dhafra region, which serve government agencies such as transport, roads, housing, education, health, public utilities, service centres and other long-term projects.
He was also briefed by Suwaidan Rashed Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of Musanada about their projects which include construction and design of internal roads, revamping of infrastructure facilities in Madinat Zayed, Baynunah, Sector 18, MZW Basin in Al Dhafra and implementation of main and secondary internal road works with other infrastructure services such as sewerage, rainwater drainage, drinking water networks, internal road lighting, irrigation systems, fire fighting equipment, power stations, communication ferries, sidewalks, parking lots, and others.
Recently, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, visited Al Sila to inspect the infrastructure development projects ongoing in the border city.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan toured the Al Ghuwaifat border crossing to learn about the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police to upgrade its equipment and improve its services to passengers.
Sheikh Hamdan also inspected new facilities in the area, which are being constructed in coordination with the ADP General Command and the Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada, to create a sustainable infrastructure using state-of-the-art technology.
Sheikh Hamdan also visited the Ladies-Only Beach, which includes eight service buildings with a total area of 790 square metres, as well as administrative offices, parking lots, restrooms, restaurants and shops.
He also toured Al Sila Port and learnt about the services provided to both local fishermen and companies. He directed to ensure the provision of appropriate services and facilities and upgrade the port.
Sheikh Hamdan stressed that the infrastructure projects currently being implemented in several cities across Al Dhafra Region are designed to meet the social, economic and developmental needs of society.
As part of the tour, Sheikh Hamdan visited Emirati citizens, Khalifa Tarish Khalifa Al Mansouri and Hamad Khamis Al Hudaily Al Mansouri, at their homes in Al Sila City and exchanged cordial talk with their families.
The visits reaffirm the UAE leadership’s keenness to maintain close channels of communication with their citizens and fulfil their needs and ambitions.
