A fire is razing a residential area along Quirricada Street near the Public Health Laboratory in Sta. Cruz, Manila, on Tuesday.
The fire alarm has been raised to Task Force Bravo. The teams reached the site and are trying to contain the fire.
Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) chief Arnel Angeles is at the scene instructing officials.
A video showed residents and firefighters carry a Black Nazarene statue from a burning house after the fire hit the informal settlement in Manila. Hundreds of people have been displaced by the inferno.
