A student in Saudi Arabia has been praised for his bravery and immediate reaction to stop his school bus after the bus driver suffered a heart attack and passed away.
It was a usual day. Driver Miteb Bin Rashid was ferrying students in his bus when he felt ill and went unconscious. Within minutes he died.
A student, Nahar Khaled Al-Enezi, noticed the situation and with his presence of mind, he took over the wheel — and took control of the situation.
Director of Tyamaa Education, Fawaz Al Faqir phoned the students who were in the bus and reassured them of their safety, after the driver died.
He praised the brave reaction of the student Nahar Khaled Al-Enezi who managed to stop the bus and switch off the engine saving his colleagues from imminent danger.
The Director of the Tayma Education and the employees extend their heartfelt condolences to the family of the school bus driver Miteb Bin Rashid who passed away while on duty.
Tayma Education said on Twitter, “We ask God Almighty to bestow mercy on the deceased and to grant patience and solace to his family.”
