Ajman school organises marathon to create Breast Cancer awareness

The Royal Academy Ajman on Saturday hosted the 6th Ajman Marathon along with The Bloomington Academy and The Little Leaders Nursery of the Lazar Group of schools for creating awareness against Breast Cancer.

The deadly disease is steadily rising in number among females as well as males over the past few years.

More than 600 runners from the students and staff of The Lazar Group of schools under the direction of Ajman Police Department, took Ajman by storm, inspiring people all over the globe to see Breast Cancer as the threat it is.

They also made a solemn oath to remind each and every individual in their acquaintance about the risks, signs and steps take action against Breast cancer. The pink army also declared their belief in a cancer free world.

"Every runner who completes a marathon has a story to tell. The story The Royal Academy Ajman wants to tell is not a different one. It is the hope to inspire everyone to take on the challenge of the marathon, one step at a time and support the victims and to learn from the survivors of Breast Cancer," the school said in a statement.
