‘Tolerance level good in Australia’

Tolerance level is very good in Australia. People planning to migrate to Australia for a better life must ignore rumours about racism and low tolerance level in the country, said Solicitor Thara Namboothiri, who has been serving aspiring migrants for about two decades.

“I have been working in Australia for the past two decades and have realised that the tolerance level is fairly high. People must realise that Australia wants skilled people who can contribute in nation-building. Thus it leaves no room for racism,” she said.

Thara Namboothiri, Principal Solicitor of the Flyworld Australia Migration & Education Services, said that people planning to migrate to Australia must make the decision early in life as maximum age for skilled people to migrate to Australia is 45 years, while the age limit for businessmen to apply is 55 years.

Talking to the Gulf Today after launch of the Flyworld Australia Migration & Education Services’ facilitation centre in Dubai, she said that some of the occupations in demand are nursing, teachers, social workers, counsellors and IT professionals.

“These are some of the professions most in demand. People in other profession should contact us for profile evaluation and suggestions to help them apply for successful migration,” she said.

Namboothiri said that the Australian government conducts regular studies and release the lists of required professionals both in mid- and long-term as well as in short term.

“Migration to Australia is difficult, but no so difficult for people the country needs. We keep monitoring the changing scenario and guide our clients accordingly for successful migration,” she added.
