A 14-year-old Emirati girl's hand was amputated and entirely separated from her body after a bicycle accident on Friday.
The girl was riding her bike near her house when the incident took place. The injured girl was allegedly taken to a hospital in another emirate on Friday evening by helicopter.
Sources affirmed the girl, SHAA who had the accident on Friday afternoon in an area of Rak, was taken to Saqr Government Hospital in Rak, where she was treated necessary medical procedures and her hand was placed in an ice-filled tanker for safety until transferring to another hospital for sewing and reattachment.
