Ras Al Khaimah Police announced the death of Lieutenant Sheikh Saqr Bin Tariq Bin Kayed Al Qasimi on Saturday.
Sheikh Saqr Bin Tariq, a member of the royal family, died on the spot when his motorbike crashed in Al Dhait area in the early hours of Saturday.
The funeral prayer took place at Sheikh Zayed Mosque after Dhuhr prayer. Sheikh Saqr was laid to rest at the Al Qawasim Cemetery in Ras Al Khaimah on Saturday.

His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain attended the funeral prayer of Sheikh Saqr Bin Tariq at Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
Crown Princes, Sheikhs and dignitaries also attended the funeral prayers on the deceased.
He was the first to win the gold medal in jujitsu for Ras Al Khaimah Police in 2016.
The UAE Federation of Jiu-Jitsu mourned the death of Sheikh Saqr Bin Tariq Bin Kayed Al-Qasimi. The Federation extended its deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased, and asked Allah Almighty to grant mercy and place in paradise.
