An Indian teenager has passed away in a case of suspected suicide on Sunday.
She fell from the sixth floor of her apartment in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain.
This is the second incident in the month.
Social worker and businessman Ashraf Thamarassery, who assist expats and residents in embalming, repatriations and forensics cases said that he is helping the family based in Umm Al Quwain.
The girl’s father is in India at the moment and was expected to arrive in the UAE for tomorrow’s funeral.
The kin are involved in the legal formalities.
The UAQ police are currently investigating the case.
Preliminary reports suggest that the incident may have taken place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The girl was a student at an Indian curriculum school in UAQ.
Family said there was no indication that the girl was distress or was having any trouble.
The girl, whose name has been withheld for privacy for the family, lived with her parents and siblings in the emirate.
The parent was notified by the police in the morning by the police.
The police visited the girl house and said they found the girl body in the road.
This is the second suspected suicide case in the month.
On Friday, another Indian teen fell from the 10th floor of her apartment building in Sharjah.
