Dazzling fireworks’ display to greet 2020

Al Majaz Waterfront (MWF), one of Sharjah’s family leisure destinations, will welcome 2020 with a spectacular 10-minute long fireworks display on Tuesday, December 31. Families and residents can enjoy the spectacle which will be launched from 16 massive barges, and sights of the Sharjah fountain lit up in multi-coloured splendor.
Marwah Obaid Al Shamsi, General Manager of Al Majaz Waterfront, said: “Over the past few years, Al Majaz Waterfront has become the go-to destination for revelers from across the emirates. During the last two years, MWF has attracted thousands of visitors on the occasion of New Year’s Eve.”
She advised visitors to assemble early at MWF to avoid the expected traffic rush. She added that visitors can utilise the concierge service to ease the process of booking.
“Visitors and families can enjoy a scrumptious dinner and watch the dazzling fireworks from unique viewing spots in one of the many restaurants facing MWF fountain.” she concluded.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of cuisines at outlets such as: Zahr El-Laymoun, Molten Chocolate, TGI Friday’s, Al Fanar Restaurant & Café, Sutis, and Zaroob.

Al Majaz Waterfront is a leisure destination among UAE’s residents, and a key tourist attraction on Sharjah’s Khalid Lagoon.
