“Organising this annual event is part of the SCCI’s keenness on finding innovative methods to serve and promote the business community in Sharjah. Our marketing and promotional studies have shown the strong interest of the Emirate’s retail sector to actively participate in such events, thanks to their positive and distinctive role in boosting the sales volume and reviving the markets. This is in addition to the noticeable impact of such promotional programs on the increasing occupancy rate of hotels in the Emirate, especially with this wonderful climate and its booming effect on Sharjah’s tourist season,” said Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, SCCI’s Director-General.
Al Awadi pointed out that Sharjah Spring Promotions is one of the SCCI’s annual initiatives aiming to develop Sharjah’s economy, strengthen public-private partnership, and bolster the commercial and tourist sectors in this time of the year with the increased number of shoppers from inside and outside the Emirate.
Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, General coordinator of Sharjah Spring Promotions 2020, expressed his optimism for the success of the new season of Sharjah Spring Promotions 2020, in light of this broad participation of the shopping malls and retail stores which are competing with one another to launch attractive offers and recreational activities with a large number of daily and weekly prizes and awards including purchase vouchers and other surprises for shoppers.
Al Jarwan noted: “This year’s edition is also witnessing creative promotional deals and new activities which include spectacular campaigns to be announced throughout the Promotions to underpin the march of success and excellence of this important event.”
Sharjah Spring Promotions 2020 comes as part of the SCCI’s strategy to support the private sector by bringing a festive atmosphere that helps encourage tourism and attract a large number of shoppers, visitors, and tourists. This would also help enhance the retail sale and create a competitive environment to bolster the Emirate’s domestic economy.
Moreover, the importance of Sharjah Spring Promotions lies in highlighting the economic and touristic role of Sharjah and reaffirming its position as a favored destination for family tourism.
