Sultan condoles kin on death

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Wednesday offered condolences on the death of the late Fatima Bint Ali Bin Abdullah Bin Khadim, the daughter of Sheikha Naima Bint Khalid Bbin Khalid Al Qasimi. This was during his visit to the condolence Majlis in the Mughaidir district, Sharjah.
His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the sons and relatives of the deceased, asking God Almighty to bestow His mercy on her, rest her soul in peace, and to grant her family the patience and solace.
The condolences were also extended by Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Head of the Seaports and Customs Department in Sharjah, Sheikh Saeed Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler’s Office in Khor Fakkan, sheikhs and senior officials.
Condolences were received by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Majid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Equestrian Club, Sheikh Dr Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Khalid Al Qasimi, and Sheikh Tariq Bin Faisal Al Qasimi.
Recently, in partnership with the International Criminal Police Organisation, Interpol, and with the financial support of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Government, and gracious support of H.H. Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Iccrom-Sharjah concluded the international training course on the “First Aid to Cultural Heritage for Preventing Illicit Trafficking in Times of Crisis”.
On this occasion, a closing ceremony was held in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, in the premises of the ICCROM Regional Office on Thursday.
The closing event was attended by a number of Ambassadors and Consuls-General accredited to the UAE, representatives of partner institutions such as the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Sharjah Museums Authority, Sharjah Archaeology Authority, and heads of Police corps nationwide.
Some 25 representatives from Interpol Regional and National Bureaus and specialised police units for the protection of cultural heritage from Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, and the Arab Region participated in the two-week training course, which was aimed at building the capacity of the police units on first aid to cultural heritage in times of crisis.
