Sharjah to host Education Growth Summit

Expo Centre Sharjah will be hosting the 2nd edition of “The Education Growth Summit” (TEGS) in Sharjah from Jan.22-23, following a cooperation agreement recently signed in Bangalore, India.

During a press conference held in Bangalore, the agreement was signed between Expo Centre Sharjah represented by Sultan Shattaf, Director, Sales and Marketing, and K2 Learning, Bangalore’s most preferred institute for commerce education, represented by Sripall D Jain, CEO and Founder of Career Uttsav and Chairman of group company K2 Learning.

Expo Centre Sharjah will also be hosting a special platform that will bring together some of the top companies operating in the educational technology sector, under the theme “Education Technologies.”

The full-fledge platform will showcase the latest innovations in the smart education technology sector, according to the agreement.

A number of representatives from K2 Learning, media and various educational sectors in India attended the signing ceremony. The TEGS and the “Education Technologies” platform will be organised by K2 Learning at the 16th International Education Show.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said that the TEGS will surely be a quality addition to the 16th International Education Show, which enjoys the support of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Ministry of Education and Sharjah Private Education Authority.

“To meet the growing aspirations of students and investors in the educational sector, Expo Centre Sharjah is always keen to follow a policy of innovation and creativity and spares no efforts to stage unique events that focus on technological innovation.

“This year, we will be hosting a select group of companies operating in the educational technology and we are going to see a distinguished participation by Indian academic institutions with a special pavilion, the largest of the participating countries,” he added.

Sultan Shattaf stressed that the agreement comes in line with a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between Expo Centre Sharjah and K2 Learning, with a view of exchanging expertise and knowledge and learn about the best practices in the field of educational and professional exhibitions.
