Heavy snowfall blanketed the northwestern regions of Saudi Arabia, particularly in the Dahr Mountains on Friday.
Video of the snowfall has gone viral on social media causing an excited melt down.
Alongside the excitement, some people are left questioning the authenticity.
With the temperature going below freezing point, the Saudi weather body urges residents to keep warm and avoid isolated places.
The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection forecasted the weather for today as thunderstorms over regions, Tabuk, Al-Medina, Al-Jawf, Northern Borders, Hail, while active surface winds in central and west.
The Authority's report stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is northerly to northwesterly at speed of 20-45 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is southerly to easterly southerly at speed of 15-40.
