Abu Dhabi Police arrest two for vandalising ATM machine

Abu Dhabi Police have arrested two Asians who destroyed an ATM machine in an attempt to rob it in the Ghayathi industrial zone in Abu Dhabi.
The Ghayathi Police Station received an information about two men, who were trying to steal an ATM machine.

The police used surveillance cameras at the scene and saw the masked men trying to steal the device.
Immediately, the police set up a search and investigation team. The team was sent to the location of the incident and searched the surrounding area. The police found a hammer, few metres away from the crime scene.
The surveillance cameras assisted the police in the arrest of two suspects near their residence in the Musaffah area of Abu Dhabi.
The duo confessed to the crime. They also said after their unsuccessful attempt to steal the machine they fled the scene and hid the tools at a nearby warehouse.
