Saudi Arabia Armed Forces inaugurates first women's wing

In accordance with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reform, the Saudi Arabia’s Armed Forces have inaugurated the first women’s wing.

Reema Bint Bandar Al Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America, took to her social media to share the news.

According to the Chief of the General Staff, First Lieutenant General Fayyad Bin Hamid Al Ruwaili, the female military section was launched to attract and meet the needs of the female component of the armed forces branch.

The Armed Forces Women Wing holds a meeting.

The Director General of the General Administration of Admission and Enlistment of the Armed Forces, Major General  Imad Bin Abdullah Al Aidan, gave an explanation of the procedures for admission stages and the places in which women would work in the armed forces, during the event.

The wing plays an important role in Saudi Arabia’s initiative of inaugurating women into the building of the country. 

It is opened to women across the country.

The women can be recruited in different official capacities in the Royal Saudi Land Forces, Royal Saudi Air Force, Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Royal Saudi Air Defence Forces, Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force, and Armed Forces Medical Services.

Saudi women have been actively breaking into different work sectors in the kingdom.
