The UAE celebrated the return of the UAE Armed Forces heroes from Yemen on Sunday.
The UAE soldiers were part of the Arab coalition in Yemen.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, took to Twitter and expressed their joy.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid said, “Faithful hawks... You sacrificed and raised the head high... proud of you and your family and of your work… proud of every hour you put away from your country ... God bless you...”
Sheikh Mohammed earlier said, “Greetings to the sons of the homeland returning from the land of Yemen, they participated with their brothers in the coalition forces in a mission to restore hope and consolidate the security of the region... Contributed to humanitarian work in 22 governorates that benefited millions of families, and contributed to building and developing huge development projects in the governorates of Yemen... Welcome to the homeland... They are the protectors of the union...”
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed said, “Together with my brothers, the UAE Rulers, I attended a celebration of our brave sons & daughters who took part in the Arab coalition in Yemen. The UAE will remain a bridge to peace & stability, supporting the region's progress of hope for a better life & a better tomorrow.”
The UAE soldiers participate in the event.
The event, organised by the UAE Armed Forces at the Zayed Military City in Abu Dhabi.
Dr Anwar Bin Mohammed Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs said, “The UAE celebrates with pride and honour the courage and sacrifice of the heroes of our armed forces. The nation is grateful for their distinguished participation in the Arab Coalition in Yemen. Thank you for your service & valour.”
Dr Sultan Bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and ADNOC Group CEO, “Our celebration of our brave soldiers who are part of the Arab Alliance forces is a celebration of heroes who believed in the covenant and set the most wonderful examples in the field of sacrifice and redemption. And honouring them today is undoubtedly worthy. It is a tribute that happened to his family.”
Dr Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment said, “Today, the hearts and feelings of the children of the Emirates # unite to welcome the triumphant return of the heroes of our armed forces, our loyal hawks, after performing their honourable heroic role in the task of restoring hope alongside their brothers in the Arab coalition forces.”
Ohoud Bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness and Wellbeing said, “Thanks to all the sincere hawks returning from Yemen. Thank you for your sacrifices, thanks for all the lessons we have learned from you. Thank you for the example you inspired in the younger generations, and for the honour you created for the homeland.”
Mariam Bint Muhairi, Minister of State for Food Security said, “Today, with the return of our children from their mission in Yemen, we express our pride in our belonging to the Emirates, which, thanks to them, has become a role model for defending fair causes and standing with our brothers, and our pride in our heroes who struck the finest images of sacrifices, and as usual, the sons of Zayed set a model in giving and redemption…”
Jameela Bint Salem Al Muhairi, Minister of State for Public Education said, “Today, our Emirati heroes and with their return from their mission in Yemen have proven that they are ready to return part of the beautiful homeland to them, and to participate in preserving its security and stability. And service is for duty.”
