However what must have sounded weird, nay bizarre, to the fans of the tech tycoon is his admission that he “is a 3,000-year-old vampire.” Move over Twilight’s Robert Pattinson: you have competition here.

According to a report in an Indian TV channel, a Twitter user shared a photograph of Canadian fighter pilot Raymond Collishaw, who was born over a hundred years ago and looked very much like Musk. He asked: “Have you considered time travel to save time, Chosen One? Also why were you in Canada in 1914, why was your name Raymond Collishaw and why was your occupation ace fighter-pilot?”
It was then that Musk delivered a smart sally: “Full disclosure, I’m actually a 3,000-year-old vampire. It’s such a trial assuming all these false identities over the centuries!” he wrote.
Musk’s claims of being a vampire have not surprised some in the Twitter world, though, who say they knew about it.
Three years ago, Musk had claimed he was a time traveller.
