Duo in the dock for stealing electronic devices worth over Dhs81,000

Two Asian salesmen have landed in the criminal court for stealing electronic devices worth over Dhs81,000 from their workplace in Dubai. One of the suspects is a runaway accomplice.
The two suspects worked for a well-known electronics company, and had used their given authority to steal the electronics without drawing any suspicion.
They stole 13 Apple watches worth over Dhs3,000, five devices of the latest iPhone version over Dhs28,000, and seven Samsung phones worth over Dhs48,000.
The company’s legal officer testified the robbery was discovered during a random spot-checking of inventory.
When the employees noticed the missing items they immediately checked surveillance cameras and found the two suspects had stolen and hid the electronics in a backpack.
