Four-year-old boy dies after being run over in Kalba

A four-year-old boy died after he was run over by a car driven by a woman while he was playing outside his house in the Mughaidir area of Kalba.

According to the statement of the Sharjah Police General Command, the operating room of the Kalba Police Station received a report from the Kalba City Hospital on Tuesday evening alerting the incident.

The police patrol immediately rushed to the hospital to investigate the circumstances behind the unfortunate occurrence.

It found that the child had been run over when he was playing outside his home by a vehicle driven by a woman in the residential neighbourhood due to lack of attention while driving.

The boy's father took him to Kalba Hospital, but he died minutes after his arrival.
