The Ministry of Health and Prevention, (MOHAP) announced a new Coronavirus, COVID19, case on Thursday.
The latest case, a 17-year old male Emirati student, who had no symptoms. The Ministry confirmed that he is currently receiving medical care and his condition is stable.
The Ministry said that in coordination with health and other concerned authorities in the country, precautionary measures have been taken, including the immediate isolation of the patient and suspending classes at the school whilst teams of specialists started the necessary sterilisation in and around the school facilities.

The UAE Ministry of Education has issued a circular notifying all government schools in the country on the upcoming Spring break holiday.
According to the circular, the Spring break holiday officially begins on 8th March up until 19th March (for a period of two weeks).
However, the ministry circular noted, that no students are allowed to enter government school buildings or facilities for a period of four weeks.
Students attending UAE government schools will undertake distance learning measures from 22nd March up until 2nd April, the circular explained, adding that schooling timetable scheduling - via distance learning - will be from 08:30 to 13:30.
The ministry statement noted that administrative and teaching staff will undergo special training to facilitate distance learning for students. The trainings will take place from 15th to 19th March.
The Ministry is also conducting tests for all contacts to ensure their safety and the safety of the community.
It urged the public to get all information about coronavirus from the credible sources and to avoid rumours and false information.
