Gulf Today Report
Eight brothers perished in a tragic fire that raged in the confines of a Sabah Al-Ahmad residential plot in Kuwait on March 7, reported the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD).
The blaze seemed to have erupted around evening after which the KFSD was alerted at 5:50 PM (AST), promptly dispatching two fire brigade teams from areas Al-Kout and Al-Warfa.
While the firefighters were able to salvage the bodies of the inhabitants from the conflagration, eight of the fire victims died tragically whose ages reportedly ranged from 14 years to 8 months.
On suspicions of arson, the KFSD launched an investigation into the cause of the domestic fire that allegedly flared up when the children were under the care of two housemaids while the parents were away.
The incident is still under scrutiny, and a conclusive report is yet to be released.
Funeral procession of the eight children took place the following day.
