Sharjah man booked for insulting and beating another, causing grievous injuries

The Sharjah Misdemeanours Court postponed to March 31 the case of an Arab national charged with insulting and beating up another with an iron piece, causing bleeding on the head, during a dispute.
A defence witness said he was present on the day of the incident in July 2019. It happened in a room in the apartment of a technical contracting company near Mega Mall.
He heard a commotion outside, so he went to check, adding that he did not see the attack or any injuries to his face and head.
When he looked for the suspect, his friend, he found him at the entrance of the building.
He asked him what happened, and he told him that the victim insulted him and he left for the entrance of the building.
Another defence witness, the friend of the first, said he was with the first witness on the day of the incident and went outside after they heard shouting at the entrance to the apartment.
The suspect was there but he did not see any assault on the victim or any injuries.
