Firm to donate part of proceeds to charity

A company specialised in automotive services in Dubai decided to donate 2.5 per cent of the value of each bill issued by it for charitable and humanitarian work projects, supporting the needy and providing their requirements, inside and outside the Emirates.

Dar Al Ber Society has signed a cooperation agreement with "Detail Plus" for automotive services, at the first Al Khail Street in Al Quoz 3 in Dubai, which also requires the private company to launch a campaign to collect donations for charitable work and humanitarian projects.

This after obtaining the special permit from the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, where Hisham Al-Hashimi, the deputy executive director of the Society, represented Dar Al Ber at the signing of the agreement.

The firm specialising in vehicle services was represented by Bandar Turki Al-Amer, the company director.

However, Dar Al Ber Society has launched the initiative (remote donation), a translation of the state’s policy and efforts to protect public health and safety. It confirms its readiness to receive donations remotely, without the need for donors and customers to visit its centres and offices in the UAE.

It also  enables their contribution to help the needy and charitable and benevolent projects from their places, in the interest of the health of customers and the safety of the Emirates community.

Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber, emphasised the availability and use of private channels to donate and do good and help the needy, in the Emirates and the world, "from a distance," where customers can use it without the need to visit the Society's offices and centres in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.

Meanwhile "Dar Al Ber" organised a special campaign to introduce the "remote donation" initiative, stressing that the initiative comes according to the guidance of our wise leadership.

He explained that the channels and methods of (remote donation) include the website of the Society of Dar Al Ber, the Society's smart application, bank transfer, communication with customer service via phone, or communication via "WhatsApp", and sending contracts for projects that need a "contract", through e-mail or WhatsApp.
